This a fantastic place. Amazing food. The staff are incredibly friendly and make feel at home. Highly recommend that if you are Llanelli, you should call in.

Table service was really good but the shame can't be said for the Sunday lunch was not nice at all very disappointing, veg was hard NO MASH, NO Turkey, Dry roasts and had horrible taste,
i won't be returning in the future no one even asked if everything was OK with the food, worst carvery I've ever had

The waitresses are A1, been 3 other times over the last few months, this would been my 4th time, came as a family gathering for a late birthday meal, everyone is disappointed, the carrots weren't cooked all the way through, the chef (lady) carving the meats were slow, also had to ask for mash potatoes, knowing there was a big group, you'd thought they'd make them! Also FROZEN VEG, the carrots could been used as door stops 🤦♂️😂, weren't satisfied at all!

Great place. Very welcoming, all the staff were fantastic and it felt like they were all a family working together to give U an enjoyable experience.very cosy surroundings. Highly recommend. Well done white lion

Terrible service. Order was wrong no apology. We waited 45 mins only people in restaurant. Offered to bring missing items eventually after I twice showed on menu that what we ordered wasn't what we received.
Repeatedly said we have what they cooked to then few minutes still try to bring missing items.
I again said no we didn't want. To which was greeted by what a waste. No apology no one checked if all OK.
Never go again paid bill and left.

We booked a table for 3 yesterday ,old and dear friends then we decided to stay in my garden ! As I live up the road ,they delivered the most fabulous home cooked chips and scampi,piping hot to our decking and wine! Can't fault the service thank you !

Probably the worst carvery I've had, outside the sign says carvery £5.95 mon-fri 12-3, my son and I were there on the Friday at 12.
I ordered two pints of Madri and two carverys, the waitress held the card reader out and I paid it was only when I got home and checked my account that I'd been charged over £27.
The carvery itself was awful there was very limited choice with both meat and veg.
There was only beef or turkey, I asked for both and the server couldn't cut the meat thin enough the beef just turned to crumbs and I had to ask for more turkey as I had one wafer thin slice.
The veg was awful, no fresh peas just mushy peas which personally I find disgusting.
The roast potatoes were inedible they were so overcooked.
The parsnips managed to look burnt but yet still raw inside.
The veg options were boiled potatoes, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, mushy peas, cabbage, cauliflower and carrots that was it.
I definitely do not recommend.

Staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome today. Couldn't ask for better service and the food was very nice and price was very reasonable. had a booking in another restaurant as family were down from England to spread my husband ashes over the Easter period and was let down last minute with out warning. So we phoned the white lion and they fitted us in even though they didn't have space and I'm really greatful to the management and staff for helping us at short notice. will definitely book again highly recommended anyone to book. We look forward to our next visit thank you again white lion.

Fabulous afternoon, having a Sunday lunch with my family. The dinner was amazing, both meat and vegetarian. The rose wine was excellent. Service could not have been better. Highly recommended. Thank you all so much.

I don't even know where to start with describing this place.
The Sunday dinner will rock your socks off. All the food is good, and the loaded fries are legendary. I mean, when did you last see actual slices of bacon on fries rather than packeted, processed, freeze-dried nonsense.
They have dog friendly areas and all the pooches are very well behaved. They have a grass area available out the front, just over the road, which is ideal to give your pooch a walk. Even with the sports on it's not particularly rowdy, it's a really nice, welcoming atmosphere.
All in all, it deserves way more than 5 stars.

We live in Berkshire and whenever we visit my aunt in Llanelli, Sunday lunch here is a must. The food Is amazing, the staff friendly and helpful and it is always a highlight of our visit. Thoroughly recommend, delicious.
